A-Level Mathematics & Science Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced A-Level Mathematics & Science Teacher with a passion for teaching Key Stage 4 and IGCSE students. Skills and Experience

We are looking for an educator who demonstrates :

Subject Expertise

Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 4 and IGCSE Mathematics curriculum, with the ability to teach engaging lessons covering a range of mathematical concepts.

Student-Centered Teaching

Ability to personalize lessons to meet the developmental needs of students transitioning from Key Stage 2 and progressing toward Key Stage 4.

Effective Assessment

Proficient in a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning.

Cross-Disciplinary Understanding

Awareness of how mathematics integrates with other subject areas and supports broader academic development.

Engagement Strategies

Skills to foster curiosity, collaboration, and independent thinking in young learners.

Requirements

Qualifications and Development

A recognized teaching qualification and an Honours degree in Education / PGCE or a related discipline.

Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to reflective practice.

Knowledge and Expertise

Deep understanding of the Key Stage 4 Mathematics & Science curriculum and progression toward IGCSE.

Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and strategies for supporting EAL learners.

Experience in planning and delivering lessons and assessments that encourage inquiry-based learning and problem-solving skills.
