Job Overview

The IT Workplace / Infrastructure Specialist will provide day‑to‑day support to employees, including desktop, application, project, video conferencing and telephony systems support.

They are responsible for deploying, maintaining and repairing the computer and network infrastructure of Commerz Global Service Solutions, exploring technical solutions, assessing applicability and making recommendations. The specialist must be a strong team player who collaborates well with others, guides the junior specialist, possesses knowledge of the security framework and system and is team‑oriented, organizing their own activities, working autonomously and with full accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical installation, troubleshooting, fault resolution and / or escalation of workplace infrastructure such as messaging, file and print, video conferencing & telephony systems and Microsoft OS for all users.
• Managed end‑user infrastructure support / configuration covering endpoints and mobile devices.
• Manage / Provide remote assistance for all end‑user application and hardware support (Microsoft 365, XenApp etc.).
• Assist in relocation of equipment within the company when required.
• Document all IT related guidelines and manuals.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system problems.
• Implement the bank’s IT and IS standards.
• Work with stakeholders to secure the organization’s IT infrastructure and networking.
• Conduct and manage local organization data security and personnel security internal control, drive employee awareness training and compliance standards.
• Ensure all incident / request tickets in ServiceNow are resolved promptly based on SLA.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Identify IT security vulnerabilities in the organization’s network.
• Coordinate and / or perform penetration testing and patching.
• Perform routine system tasks including hardware / software inventory.
• Verify that all tasks completed by the junior specialist meet required standards.
• Install, configure, test and maintain network‑related operating systems, applications and management tools.
• Support the LAN & WAN networks and troubleshoot complex issues with the Network team.
• Manage and monitor all installed network appliances, systems and related IT infrastructure (cloud and on‑premises).
• Ensure the highest levels of network connectivity and infrastructure availability.
• Provide expertise for the overall network systems infrastructure support.
• Monitor network / system usage and health status in compliance with security policies.
• Handle escalations with second‑level support end‑to‑end.
• Provide RCA to management when requested.
• Participate in other projects / tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Manage vendor relationships for servers / equipment managed by vendors.
• Work in BCM site if required.
