About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior QS / Junior Engineer to join our dynamic team at MAWAR ABADI (M) SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and advancement.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing quantity surveying duties, including estimating, costing, and procurement for construction projects
  • Collaborating with project managers and project team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met
  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation to support the project delivery
  • Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil and structural engineering principles and construction process
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and procurement processes
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools, such as CAD and project management applications
