Job Description : Position Summary : Work as a liaison between vendors and the organization; provide specialized consultative services, and implement, drive, and maintain vendor programs, marketing, and training; review and negotiate vendor contracts and communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters; build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance; research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies. This position may or may not be on a sales commission plan. What you bring to the role : Established and productive professional individual contributor. Works independently with general supervision. Faces difficult and potentially complex problems. May influence others within the job area by explaining facts, policies, and practices. Works on moderate to complex projects. Uses company standard policies and procedures to resolve various issues. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions. Receives moderate guidance. Work is reviewed for soundness and accuracy. Proficient with various tools, systems, and procedures required for the job. May consult with senior or specialist staff on technical issues. A four-year college degree (or additional related experience) and 3 years of functional experience, including at least 1 year of position-specific experience.
