ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading all aspects of new business development activities including strategy development & tactical execution, setting account goals and objectives, driving effort to achieve them.

Identifying key decision makers & develop strong relationship that support retention and translate into new revenue opportunities, programs to retain and grow existing accounts.

Act as primary point of contact between company and key customers, implement plans aimed at business retention and improve customer satisfaction.

Understand and keep track of changing key customer needs and business environments to ensure the most appropriate support is provided to fulfil key customers’ needs and the information is used to adjust our tactical plans.

To manage distributors and lead / guide them to achieve key deliverables.

To liaise with internal department to maximize sales opportunities.

JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS

An ideal candidate should possess a minimum Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering with 5 – 7 years in the Chemical industry. Alternatively, a Degree in Business Administration with an affinity and understanding of the chemical / technical business environment.

Exposure to handling clients from different cultural backgrounds.

Exposure to supply chain management is a must.

Experience in the Oleochemical or related industry is an added advantage.

Candidate who has an engineering / production background is encouraged to apply.

Sales negotiation - able to enhance the value for the company.

Ability to influence and successfully lead in a fast-paced environment.

Global savvy, have an international frame of mind and awareness of cultural diversity.

Dynamic builder of relationships with key customers and operations.
