The Role
- Plan, build and execute a Digital Marketing Plan that will complement and align with the resort’s overall Sales & Marketing plans.
- Leverage owned, earned and paid media for a comprehensive strategy.
- Coordinate with advertising and media experts to improve digital marketing results.
- Monitor landing pages in line with the resort’s Digital Marketing plans.
- Measure ROI and KPIs specific to the digital marketing performance and prepare accurate reports on this performance.
- Prepare and manage the Digital Marketing annual budget with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Leverage PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort’s partnership by remaining up to date on all relevant marketing or digital marketing opportunities.
- Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Maintaining the resort’s information and digital image libraries, keeping them updated across all necessary platforms (e.g. Trip Advisor, Agoda, Booking.com, Klook, Little Red Book, etc).
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of resort’s websites.
- Track and measure SEO, SEM and Google analytic metrics.
- Digital Advertising – Work with the Pan Pacific Hotels Group Corporate Digital Marketing team and if necessary, appointed Digital Marketing Agency to compile a paid advertising strategy for the resort, which allows continuous monitoring of ROI and restructuring where necessary.
- Support and create social media marketing strategies and campaigns that are aligned with the resort’s Sales & Marketing and Digital Marketing plans.
- Ensure that the resort’s brand is being correctly managed and delivered on any social media platforms.
- Submit monthly progress reports to the relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with annual, quarterly and monthly forecasting.
- Evaluation of emerging online marketing technologies and trends including research and awareness of competitors’ online strategies.
Talent Profile
Diploma or Degree from an accredited university in Digital Marketing or relevant fieldMinimum 5 years of hands‑on Digital Marketing experience in an international hotel chainDemonstrable experience managing SEO / SEM, Marketing Databases, Email Marketing, Social Media, Analytics Tools (eg : Google) and Display Advertising CampaignsKnowledge of hospitality industry and digital marketing channelsGood knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practicesFluency in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia to facilitate communication at the resortHighly computer literateOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsCritical thinker and problem‑solving skillsA strong team playerGood time management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsHigh level of motivation, determination and commitmentSeniority level
