Job Summary :
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property. This includes monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, responding to emergencies, and ensuring adherence to safety and security protocols at all times.
1. Safety and Security Monitoring
- Patrol assigned areas (inside and outside the premises) to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, or vandalism.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels for unusual activities.
- Ensure that all security checkpoints, doors, and windows are properly locked and secured.
- Check and record all incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, vehicles, and materials as per company policy.
- Maintain high visibility in public areas to deter potential disturbances or misconduct.
2. Incident Response and Reporting
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities.Intervene in incidents involving disorderly conduct, theft, or property damage according to established procedures.Provide first aid or basic emergency response when necessary until medical or emergency services arrive.Prepare accurate daily logs and detailed incident reports.Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and violations of company rules to management.3. Access Control and Guest Assistance
Manage access to restricted areas and verify identity of personnel and visitors.Escort visitors, contractors, or VIPs when required.Assist guests and staff with directions or information while maintaining a professional demeanor.Support event or crowd control during special occasions or high-traffic periods.4. Compliance and Standards
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company security policies, and legal requirements.Participate in regular training on fire safety, emergency procedures, and crisis management.Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive security information.#J-18808-Ljbffr
