Warehouse Quality Control Officer (Welcome SPM Holder)
Inspect incoming goods upon receipt for correct quantity, specification, and condition.
Verify details against purchase order (PO) and packing list.
Identify, record, and report any damaged, defective, or wrong items.
Label and separate items as QC Passed or QC Hold accordingly.
Update QC inspection records in the WMS / system to ensure inventory accuracy.
Conduct final inspection of goods before dispatch to customers.
Verify SKU, color, size, quantity, and packaging according to delivery order (DO).
Ensure all items are clean, properly packed, and labeled before shipment.
Mark and release goods only after QC Passed approval.
Report shipment discrepancies or quality issues to Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily QC inspection logs for both inbound and outbound operations.
Record defect types, quantities, and root causes.
Submit daily / weekly QC summary reports to management.
Support inventory reconciliation and cycle count activities.
Operational Efficiency
Support process improvement to reduce inspection time and increase throughput.
Ensure clear separation between QC Pass / Hold areas to prevent mix-ups.
Use digital tools (e.g., barcode scanner, mobile app) to improve QC speed and accuracy.
Work with team leaders to analyze repeated defects and suggest corrective action.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe QC workstations for smooth workflow.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all warehouse safety rules and use PPE properly.
Report unsafe conditions, equipment failure, or damaged packaging.
Ensure all QC activities comply with company SOPs and product standards.
