Costing Executive

Penerangan pekerjaanPrepare financial reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Support monthly cost analysis meetings with accurate materials and data. Conduct spot checks on warehouse accounts, inventory records, and physical stock; verify balances with counterparties. Assist in preparing financial cost plans and budgets. Record and manage accounting entries related to cost and expense management. Handle accounting work for infrastructure projects and monitor project execution progress. Manage company assets including inventory and fixed assets. Perform financial analysis to support business decisions. Review and standardize the company's cost structure, and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Collaborate with other departments and complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in cost accounting or financial reporting.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations (knowledge of Malaysian tax laws is an added advantage).
- Strong skills in cost management, financial analysis, and accounting systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIMA, or ACCA are an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken & written) is required to communicate effectively with principals and business partners.
- Must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang.
