You will work with and support the audit professionals as a technical expert in auditing, specifically the valuation of financial instruments and private equity investments for financial reporting. Working in a dynamic environment, you will accumulate experience and obtain exposure to various industry sectors, through interactions with internal and external clients. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Responsibilities
- Reperform independent valuation of financial instruments to private equity investments according to financial reporting standards
- Review of client’s valuation model, and performing independent verification and validation of the pricing model and underlying assumptions / parameters
- Provide support and advising the audit team on valuation matters
- Apply various valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, asset-based approaches, option pricing models and binomial model
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of data
- Prepare review memos for internal clients
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of valuation methodologies and tools
- Assist in other ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements
