Blood is a challenger consumer brand that creates game-changing period care products for all who bleed. Our focus on deeply understanding and caring for our users drives our product innovation and material design, which enables us to invent products that are both high performing and also better for the body.
Blood is the creator of the world’s first Sanitary Pad made from Corn, and is the parent brand of MenstruHeat (menstrual cramp relief) and the Blood Menstrual Cup.
Our products are sold across 15 countries, both direct-to-consumer online and in more than 10,000 retail stores - making more than 7 million periods better so far.

The role
If you :
- you are passionate about creating and producing high quality visual design and motion graphic deliverables
- you believe the design function plays an integral role in representing the brand and in communicating its ideals to consumers
This role serves as a key member of our Design team, driving Blood’s growth across Direct-To-Consumer and Social Media channels by creating premium creative content. You’ll primarily focus on end-to-end packaging development (70%), ensuring brand alignment and print readiness. Additionally, you’ll support retail POSM and digital graphic design (20%), while dedicating time to learning and development (10%) within a rapidly growing consumer startup in Southeast Asia.
Core Responsibilities
Packaging Design Deliverables (70%)
End-to-End Packaging Development : Drive and oversee the entire packaging lifecycle, from R&D and initial concept development to final artwork, ensuring print readiness and alignment with brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and consumer insights.Concept Development and Design : Develop concepts that align with business goals and product requirements, creating high-quality packaging designs including graphic layouts, typography, imagery, and finishes, with considerations for merchandising.Collaboration : Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to ensure design feasibility and timely execution.Brand Integrity and Consistency : Maintain and elevate the visual integrity and consistency of all packaging across various product lines and markets, ensuring brand recognition and premium appeal.Stakeholder Communication : Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, articulating design rationale and securing buy-in.Documentation and Marketing Assets : Support the creation of product documentation and marketing assets for smooth product launches.Quality Control : Quality check all collateral and ensure designs adhere to brand rules and guidelines.Retail POSM Deliverables (20%)
Create and implement attention-getting static advertising across multiple platforms (such as social media channels, physical retail stores etc.)Contribute to bringing our direct-to-consumer and marketplace web pages to lifeWork well with collaborators in our creative, retail, and marketing teamsHelp develop strategies for continuing to grow the Blood brand as an iconic challenger brandLearning and Development (10%)
Keep up to date with the latest design trends for both packaging and retail POSMsBe aware of and learn about new software updates and workflows to ensure that your skills are up to dateSkills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years in graphic design — expertise in Packaging design is a plusAble to communicate effectively in English due to working with multinational teams; bonus if you know ChineseA strong design portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful packaging design projects, demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, aesthetic sensibility, and technical proficiency.Proficient in use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).Understanding of print processes, materials, structural design, and packaging production techniques is a strong plus.
