Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Implementation Engineer

specializing in

HPE Networking and Aruba Wireless Solutions

to join our Malaysia delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of enterprise network and wireless solutions for our clients across multiple industries, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the

implementation, configuration, and deployment

of HPE networking products (switches, routers, firewalls) and Aruba wireless solutions (controllers, APs, ClearPass, AirWave / Aruba Central).

  • Perform

    • site surveys, network design validation, and wireless coverage planning

  • Carry out

    • installation, integration, testing, and handover

    of network and wireless infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-deployment phases.
  • Work closely with project managers, solution architects, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare

    • technical documentation

    including design diagrams, test plans, as-built documentation, and user guides.

  • Conduct

    • knowledge transfer and training

    for client technical teams.

  • Ensure compliance with

    • industry standards, security policies, and safety guidelines

  • Provide

    • Level 2 / 3 support

    for escalated issues in HPE / Aruba environments.

  • Stay up to date with HPE / Aruba product updates, certifications, and emerging networking technologies.

    • Requirements

  • Education :

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

  • Certifications (preferred) :
  • HPE ASE / ATP in Networking Solutions.
  • Aruba Certified Implementation Professional (ACIP) or higher (ACMX desirable).
  • CCNP / Equivalent in networking is an added advantage.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum

    • 3–5 years

    hands-on experience in implementing enterprise network and wireless solutions.

  • Proven expertise with

    • HPE switches (ArubaOS-CX), Aruba WLAN (controllers & APs)

    , and associated tools (AirWave, Aruba Central, ClearPass).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across L2 / L3 switching, routing, VLANs, wireless coverage, authentication, and security.
  • Skills :
  • Solid knowledge of TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, and wireless security protocols (WPA2 / 3, 802.1X).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management platforms.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

  • Travel :

    • May be required to travel within Malaysia and occasionally across ASEAN for project delivery.

  • Employment Type :

    • Full-time, permanent.
