We are looking for a Process Engineer responsible for building maintenance, upkeep, and improvement of outdoor facilities. You will oversee routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair activities while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Facilities and Building Maintenance
Perform systems evaluations on facilities and determine what installation or repair services need to be performed, manage a budget, and create calculations to ensure operational efficiencies. Assign and schedule work tasks with other facility technicians in a team-oriented environment, and perform initial evaluations of building systems and distribute work assignments. Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, and other mechanical systems. Coordinate and assist in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Oversee repairs related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other essential amenities in the hostels. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including fire safety, electrical safety, and proper waste disposal. Address work order requests from the hostel operation team in a timely and effective manner. Coordinate with external service providers for large-scale maintenance projects or renovations. Assist in the hiring and training of workers, and arrange their schedules and work activities. Evaluate team members’ individual performances to ensure quality operations, and investigate any accidents caused by team members, preparing relevant reports. Work with the Maintenance team to evaluate needs for all work requests—both scheduled and unscheduled—as well as any special projects that arise.
Maintenance Operation
Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on systems like refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, etc. Review and maintain maintenance logs and budgets, and complete any necessary documentation for task completion.
Safety and Compliance
Instruct the team on how to dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA procedures. Investigate accidents caused by team members and prepare relevant safety reports.
What you’ll need to succeed :
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience is preferred. Minimum 3 years of related experience; candidates from the Food Industry are preferred. Strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
