Company Background We are representing our client a food processing manufacturer for the retail and foodservice sectors. They are certified under FSSC22000, ISO22000, HACCP, GMP, MeSTI and Halal. They are currently seeking for a QA / QC Assistant Manager or Manager to strengthen their food safety and quality management systems. 5 Working Days : 8am - 6pm Main Responsibilities Lead and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the companys Food Safety Management Systems (FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal, MeSTI) Manage and supervise the QA / QC team to ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements Lead third-party and internal audits; ensure all corrective actions are closed within timelines Monitor quality metrics, investigate quality deviations, and resolve product or process issues Liaise with customers on quality-related matters and documentation Drive training programs for production and QC staff on food safety and hygiene Report regularly to management on quality KPIs, audit results, and compliance status Requirements Min Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Tech, Biotechnology etc. Assistant Manager : Min 5 years of QA / QC experience in food processing Manager : Min 8 years of QA / QC experience in food processing Strong working knowledge of FSSC22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal and MeSTI Leadership in audits, quality assurance systems, regulatory compliance Ability to speak in Mandarin due to require to liaise with Mandarin speaking suppliers and customers.
