ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE (MALAYSIA)

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled IT Support & Maintenance Technician to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems, networks, and related hardware / software. The ideal candidate will diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform hardware repairs, and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including CCTV systems. Additionally, the role involves testing and evaluating new technologies to improve efficiency.Key Responsibilities : 1. Computer Maintenance : Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.Set up operating systems, software, and drivers.Perform regular system updates and maintenance.2. Network Support : Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN / WAN / Wi-Fi).Configure routers, switches, and firewalls.Monitor network performance and security.3. Hardware Repair & Replacement : Replace or repair faulty hardware components (RAM, HDD / SSD, power supplies, etc.).Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment.Maintain inventory of spare parts and hardware.4. Software & Hardware Troubleshooting : Diagnose and fix software errors (OS, drivers, applications).Resolve hardware failures and performance issues.Provide technical support to end-users.5. CCTV Installation & Maintenance : Install, configure, and maintain surveillance systems.Review CCTV footage and ensure proper functioning.Troubleshoot camera and DVR / NVR issues.6. Technology Evaluation : Test and evaluate new hardware / software solutions.Recommend upgrades and improvements to IT infrastructure.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills : Proven experience in IT support, computer maintenance, or a related role.Strong knowledge of Windows / Linux OS, networking, and hardware repair.Familiarity with CCTV systems is a plus.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.Good communication and problem-solving skills.
