Our multidisciplinary expertise covers design, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance, allowing us to deliver exceptional service to clients across national and international markets.

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing organization supporting our Australian financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit claims to clients by coordinating with project managers.
Review financial transactions, audit documents, and reconcile discrepancies.
Generate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, internal management reports, and cash‑flow statements.
Compile and analyze account information to create ad‑hoc financial reports that assist project managers in evaluating project performance.
Manage the general ledger, oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliation, banking, and inter‑company reconciliations.
Post monthly accrual journals and process payroll journals (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly).
Support process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of year‑end statutory accounts.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role.

Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications.

Proficiency in Xero and Procore is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
