Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site role for a Site Reliability Engineer specializing in VMware Cloud Foundation, located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The engineer will manage and optimize SRE efforts, perform system administration tasks, monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, and develop software initiatives to enhance reliability. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the availability, scalability, and performance of critical systems, as well as implementing best practices for infrastructure management and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Site Reliability Engineering and infrastructure optimization
• Strong skills in system administration and troubleshooting of complex environments
• Proficiency in software development and scripting to support automation
• Experience managing and scaling infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and performance
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges
• Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
