KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Deliver financial models, forecasts, and performance analyses to support business cases.
  • Monitor financial performance and highlight risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide management with timely and practical insights to aid operational and project decisions.

Capital & Treasury Management

  • Manage daily cash flow, banking facilities, and treasury operations.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity for business needs and optimize utilization of financial resources.
  • Prepare recommendations for financing options and participate in facility negotiations as required.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Coordinate preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Ensure delivery of accurate, timely, and comprehensive management reports.
  • Prepare board papers and financial dashboards that present clear findings and options.
  • Risk & Compliance

  • Implement effective financial controls across processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide accurate financial information and materials for board and management meetings.
  • Maintain working relationships with banks, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Represent the Finance function in cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, coach, and guide team members to ensure strong technical capability.
  • Foster collaboration within Finance and with other departments.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and systems.
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business / Commerce, or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA).
  • 10 – 12 years of corporate finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, treasury, and compliance.
  • Experience in property development, real estate, or construction is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Result-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
