Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Accountant - Purchase to Pay role at Hilti Group. The P2P team member is responsible for the timely completion of the tasks detailed below and actively supports the P2P Manager to ensure high quality services are offered to the entities serviced by the Shared Service Center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform compliant Purchase to Pay processes, using consistent and correct financial bookings in Invoice, Travel & Expense, and Vendor Account Management.
  • Review & maintain vendor related balance sheet accounts and prepare accurate accruals.
  • Act as a sparring partner for entity contacts, linking business decisions to P2P processes.
  • Identify and drive P2P process improvements using CIP tools and best suited technologies.
  • Challenge the status quo and act as a change agent in the Shared Service Centre.
  • Ensure compliance with group & indirect tax (VAT) requirements and deadlines.
  • Operate P2P related internal controls and ensure consistent filing of documentation for audit purposes.
  • Support data preparation for internal control assessment cycles as required by the P2P Team Leader.
  • Refresh monthly KPI reporting and identify areas for improvement.
  • Administer Travel & Expense tools and reporting.
  • Support onboarding & training of P2P accountants / peers.
  • Support Regional Process Experts in global project rollouts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Business, Finance or similar, or equivalent finance qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a finance function, preferably within a shared service centre environment.
  • Functional expertise in ERP system & tools, including SAP S / 4 and MS Office suite.
  • Experience with month end closing (MEC) and year end closing (YEC) tasks.
  • Evidence of acting as a business partner and influencing finance & non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Strong English written & verbal communication skills.
