About the role

As a Customer Quality Engineer at MICRO VIEW LINK SDN. BHD.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products and services. This full-time position is based in Penang and will involve partnering closely with our customers to understand their needs and requirements, and implementing robust quality assurance processes to meet or exceed their expectations.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with customers to understand their quality requirements and specifications
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures to monitor and ensure product quality
  • Conducting regular inspections and testing to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Analysing quality data and generating reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal quality standards

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in reading Mandarin is preferred. However, ability to communicate in Mandarin is also acceptable to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality improvement
