Overview
Join to apply for the Risk Analyst role at Ingram Micro in Malaysia. The Global Credit team supports APAC, EMEA and LATAM from Malaysia, and works to manage credit risk for a large customer base across multiple countries in a sector exposed to substantial credit risk.
The successful candidate combines proactive ownership of deep-dive financial and deal-structure analyses with meticulous attention to detail. They are natural communicators – asking the right questions, listening closely, and sharing insights openly with key stakeholders to build trust and alignment. They are confident analyzing credit data and engaging directly with global customers, bringing sharp analytical skills and strong interpersonal presence to every interaction.
Key Deliverables
- Credit Assessment : Coordinate credit limits and insurance settings for global customers in partnership with the North America credit team.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of financials, trading history, deal structures, and contractual terms for short- and long-term deals.
- Develop a deep understanding of financials and balance commercial sense, credit risk, and global customer needs.
- Deliver comprehensive credit reports with concise, approval-ready recommendations.
Collaboration & Communication
Engage with country credit teams through regular meetings to gather information, share insights, and ensure alignment on risk assessments and customer exposure.Serve as the primary liaison for global customers across credit teams and the Global Sales team, fostering strong relationships to accelerate decision-making and drive business outcomes.Monitoring & Reporting
Prepare weekly aging reports on balances for global customers across regions; collaborate with local credit teams and the Global Sales team to address overdue situations.Monitor portfolio performance and credit outcomes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data in the portfolio database; prepare clear management reports highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.Ad-Hoc Support
Adapt quickly to short-notice assignments and evolving business needs.Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in credit analysis; experience in a multinational organization is a plus.Ability to embrace change and operate in a transforming digital business; analytical, curious, and growth-minded.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity.Demonstrated critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills, supported by data analytics experience.SAP knowledge is an advantage.Experience with credit insurance is an asset.Excellent command of English; familiarity with Chinese would be an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
