About Australian International School Malaysia

The Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) established in 2000 is a leading international school located only twenty kilometres south of central Kuala Lumpur.

We offer a world-class Australian education from Nursery to Year 12 for over 500 students from 30 nationalities. AISM follows the Australian academic year, beginning in January and is the only school in Malaysia authorised to offer the New South Wales Higher School Certificate (HSC), a globally recognised university entrance qualification.

Job Summary : French Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons

Purpose : As a French Teacher at AISM, you will play a vital role in upholding the school’s high standards of educational excellence for Middle and Senior School students.

Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality, student-centred lessons, incorporating relevant technologies to engage and support diverse learning needs.

Develop and implement teaching programs that align with AISM's curriculum standards.

Maintain a secure and positive classroom environment.

Assess student progress and provide feedback in accordance with school expectations.

Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum and participate in co-curricular activities.

Foster productive relationships with parents and colleagues to enhance student learning.

Engage in professional growth opportunities and demonstrate the qualities of an ‘Inspired and Passionate AISM Teacher.’

Perform additional duties as directed by the Principal or Head of School.

Align with AISM’s mission, values, and strategic goals.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the school’s community.

Manage and organise resources to meet departmental and organisational objectives.

Engage in marketing activities and contribute to school events and co-curricular programs outside of regular school hours.

Knowledge & Skills :

Proven experience in teaching subjects related to ICT , but not limited to, Technology, Software Engineering, and Computing Technology

Skilled in creating differentiated and engaging learning experiences.

Familiarity with Visible Learning and / or a Culture of Thinking principles is a plus.

High standard of English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience in leading or coaching sports or other co-curricular activities is valued.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field with a Diploma of Education.

Current Teacher Registration and relevant police checks.

Experience :

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
