IT Senior Staff Engineer (IT Infrastructure)

Penerangan pekerjaanDeploy and manage VMware vSphere environments. Optimize virtualization performance, resource allocation, and high availability. Troubleshoot VMware-related issues and ensure seamless virtual machine (VM) operations. Administer server hardware, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades. Collaborate with hardware vendors to ensure reliable server performance. Implement security measures to protect server infrastructure. Design and implement backup strategies for critical systems. Monitor backup processes and troubleshoot any issues to ensure data availability and integrity. Collaborate with backup vendors and maintain backup infrastructure using Commvault as the primary backup tool. Knowledge of Commvault backup and recovery solutions will be considered an advantage. Administer, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux environments (e.g., RHEL, CentOS). Perform system updates, patch management, and performance tuning on Linux servers. Ensure secure and stable Linux systems operation in production environments. Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using OpenShift (or similar Kubernetes-based platforms). Support CI / CD pipelines and container orchestration for scalable application deployment. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure robust container infrastructure and automation. Maintain and support other IT systems (e.g., networking, security, databases). Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system reliability.
Storage Management
- Configure and manage NetApp storage solutions, including RAID arrays and Volumes (NFS / CIFS) in a NAS (Network Attached Storage) environment.
- Monitor storage performance and capacity to optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with NetApp and other relevant vendors to ensure efficient storage operations in a NAS-based infrastructure.
