Campbell Malaysia is the Regional Hub for The Arnott’s Group Asia Business Unit. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the organization leads the strategy & direction to ensure that The Arnott’s Group has a geographical footprint across Total Asia.

Campbell Malaysia also supports the region by supplying locally manufactured and marketed brands such as Campbell’s soup, Prego pasta sauces as well as Kimball & Cheong Chan sauces. Asia’s extended range of consumer food brands also include TST, Swanson, GoodTime & Nyam Nyam.

Position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

1. Manage and Advocate Food Safety Programs

  • Oversee and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
  • Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the site’s food safety and sanitation, and environmental microbiological monitoring programs.
  • Supervise microbiology laboratory operations, including testing programs, equipment, consumables, and data reliability.
  • Advocate food safety best practices and provide guidance to the team to maintain program effectiveness and adherence to policies.
  • Work independently to identify and resolve food safety risks, ensuring proactive mitigation.

2. Manage Pest Control Programs

  • Oversee the site’s pest control program, including scheduling, monitoring, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address findings and ensure preventive measures are in place.
  • Review pest control data and trends to identify risks and implement improvements.
  • Ensure timely communication and escalation of critical issues to maintain site compliance.
  • 3. Lead Projects & Program Initiatives

  • Manage microbiology and sanitation-related projects, plant hygiene, and allergen validation initiatives.
  • Oversee critical site campaigns, such as bulk liquid tank cleaning, to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with hygiene permits and corporate requirements.
  • Provide technical support and independent decision‑making for project execution.
  • 4. Continuous Improvement & Compliance Oversight

  • Monitor program performance through spot checks, data reviews, and team feedback.
  • Identify gaps or risks in GMP, sanitation, pest control, and microbiology programs and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational excellence and compliance.
  • Mentor and develop the team to operate autonomously while maintaining high food safety standards.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years in quality assurance or food safety management in a food manufacturing environment, with demonstrated capability in leading GMP, sanitation, and microbiology programs.
  • Knowledge of internationally recognized food safety and quality standards (FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • In‑depth understanding of food safety programs, sanitation, pest control, and microbiology laboratory operations in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple food safety programs independently, make informed decisions with minimal guidance, and ensure program effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret microbiology, sanitation, and pest control data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and cross‑functional collaboration for food safety initiatives.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, capable of advocating food safety best practices to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members, supporting succession planning and building a high‑performing food safety function.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate food safety risks, implement corrective actions, and maintain audit readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in compliance, operational excellence, and food safety performance.
