About the role

As a Senior Audit Associate at HLB LER LUM CHEW, you will play a crucial role in the company's Audit team, providing high-quality audit services to a diverse range of clients. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and supervise the audit team based on client size
  • Perform detailed audits of financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Identify and address any issues or discrepancies found
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and recommendations for clients
  • Collaborate with the audit team to develop and implement efficient audit strategies and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

What we're looking for

  • A recognized degree in Accounting and / or professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of audit software and data analysis tools
  • A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to work
