About the Role

Design for impact. You’ll craft on-brand visuals, motion snippets, and templates that bring ASARTR’s conservation work to life across social, web, and print.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Produce social / digital assets (posts, carousels, stories, reel covers, thumbnails) on a steady cadence.
• Turn programme data into clear infographics and simple explanatory visuals.
• Maintain brand consistency (colour, type, imagery); manage swatches / type tokens for accuracy.
• Build reusable template packs (social, decks, reports) with usage notes to scale production.
• Edit short videos (cuts, captions, subtitles ) and add light motion / animation for reels / carousels.
• Optimise assets per platform (sizes, aspect ratios, compression) and accessibility (contrast, legibility).
• Prepare print-ready files (bleed, colour profile, dielines) and coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Package exports neatly ( source files, fonts, usage notes ); keep version control and backups in order.
• Use AI tools (e.g., background removal, upscaling, layout suggestions) to accelerate production.
• Collaborate with copy / creative to ensure copy-visual cohesion and clear storytelling.
• Ensure factual accuracy , correct logos / credits, and approvals for sensitive wildlife / community content.
• Document licensing / usage rights for fonts, stock, and third-party assets.
• Review performance with the team; iterate designs to improve clarity and engagement ; log monthly outcomes.
• Support events / activations with quick-turn visuals and on-site adaptations.
• Deliver on time consistently; communicate blockers early with options.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma / Degree in Graphic / Multimedia Design or equivalent.

Proficient in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop; Premiere / After Effects basic a plus) or Figma / Canva .

Strong grasp of layout, colour, and typography; fast, consistent execution.

Portfolio with 6–10 relevant pieces (social / motion / brand).

Nice to Have

Basic animation, subtitle workflows, AI image / video tools, print production experience.

Interest in NGO / conservation and simple data visualisation.
