Next Gen BizChannel (NGB) will replace existing NGB will feature better user experience across multiple business segments and user personas. Products and servicing via the digital platform will also be extended beyond conventional Cash and Trade, transforming NGB to be the single digital servicing channel for CIMB non‑retail customers. NGB is a 5‑year strategic program with a defined implementation roadmap by product / servicing capabilities and CIMB markets. You will be responsible for providing business requirements and design for non‑retail transactional and servicing digital channels. The product focus will be Cash, Trade, Liquidity Management, Loans, Treasury and Cards from user interactive channels perspectives. User experience is paramount and must be relevant across a wide spectrum of personas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UI / UX workstream and assigned module.
- Provide business requirements and designs that align with UI / UX style guides and framework according to the banking standard.
- Work within multiple squads to design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mock‑ups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Key contributor in ensuring design fits the targeted user personas.
- Bring user‑centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business and Technology to derive UI / UX solutions.
- Clearly articulate and defend your design decisions in front of vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Present design concepts at stakeholder review meetings and engage in sprint reviews to refine design.
- Implement design patterns, style guides and accessibility guidelines, while contributing to their continuous improvement.
- Develop creative content and translate communication into visual design for print and digital media (logo, videos, brochures, website, social‑media graphics, etc.).
- Conduct user surveys and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviours.
- Analyze competitor products and identify best practices and areas for improvement.
Technical / Functional Skills
Acquire a skillset and strong grasp of both UX and UI concepts.Familiar with Figma – this is mandatory.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); additional video‑editing skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro) are beneficial.Develop clear and effective user interfaces to achieve both product and business goals.Maintain and define visual and UX patterns for our products to cultivate a consistent and intuitive experience.Strong ability to grasp the product vision, product goals and communicate them clearly and regularly to the team.Solid design philosophy, deep understanding of user experience design, design principles, typography, colour theory and layout techniques.Able to lead demo sessions that showcase product mockups / prototypes.Experience working within cross‑functional teams and using lean / agile design practices.Take care of brand guidelines and design assets.Knowledge of current design trends and best practices across digital and print media.Strong follow‑up on all feedback and incorporate into design iterations.Personal Skills (Soft Competencies (Core / Leadership))
