Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of solar power systems and MEP components.
  • Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and QA / QC methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in MEP QA / QC, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
  • Certifications in QA / QC, Solar Technology, or Construction Management are advantageous.

    • Job Description

  • Conduct inspections and testing of solar infrastructure (e.g., panels, inverters, racking systems, electrical components).
  • Review and verify MEP works against approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, UL, and other relevant standards.
  • Prepare and maintain QA / QC documentation including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Quality Reports.
  • Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspection activities and approvals.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in QA / QC meetings and support internal audits.
  • Supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Ensure timely closure of NCRs and suggest improvements for quality processes.
  • Review material submittals and shop drawings for compliance.
  • Maintain logs for inspections, test results, and permanent material approvals.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO QMS & EHSMS procedures and maintain legible records.
