Assistant-Highway Maintenance

JOB SUMMARY

• To carry out general maintenance work as directed by Assistant Manager and Supervisor/ Senior Supervisor/Officer.
• To operate the road sweeper, water tanker, truck and other operation vehicles as instructed.

JOB TASK

1 To operate the respective operations vehicles such as :-

• Road Sweeper for sweeping of pavement
• Lorry c/w crane for carrying and lifting of goods
• Water Tanker for water supply
• Van and other operations vehicles

2. Carry out maintenance work as directed by Assistant Manager and Supervisor / Senior Supervisor / Officer.

3. To be part of the Emergency Response Team to attend to emergency situation.

4 All structures and facilities along the highway and assist in traffic management.

5. Undertake other duties as directed by the Head of Department.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Minimum SPM
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in driving lorry / truck and carrying out maintenance work.
• Possess a valid driving license Class D, GDL and E
• Good teamwork and commitment.
