DevOps Automation Engineer

Our client, an established bank located in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
Utilize Ansible features to orchestrate and manage automation workflows across diverse environments.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and modules for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management.
Build and manage CI / CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI or TeamCity to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security and compliance requirements into deployment workflows.
Ensure consistent and repeatable deployments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Ansible.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to maintain system stability, high availability, and optimal performance.
Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes by adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in DevOps and infrastructure automation to drive innovation.

Qualifications

Solid experience in a DevOps role, with a strong emphasis on Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform .

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python , Bash , or PowerShell .

Deep understanding of infrastructure automation tools and practices (e.g., Terraform , Chef , Puppet ).

Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud , and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .
