Assistant Engineer - Steel Manufacturing Industry

Job Description
Responsibility:
1. Assist the project team in handling daily tasks, including but not limited to manpower planning, file management, meeting arrangements, and maintaining contact lists.
2. Support project management work of the project team, track project progress, and organise project documents and reports.
3. Assist the project team in data analysis and research, providing support and recommendations for technical decision-making.
4. Assist in preparing project schedule; equipment inspection plan and maintenance plan.
5. Assist in the procurement, maintenance, and management of technical equipment and tools.
6. Track and manage the budget and expenses of the project team, assist in budget planning and expense reporting.
7. Complete other relevant department tasks as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Candidates without prior experience is welcome to apply. Experience in palm oil mill or heavy industry is an advantage.
- Requires skills: MS Office, ERP System
- Good in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia in verbal, reading and writing to effectively communicate with our diverse client base, leaders and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and result oriented with good interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently to maintain high standard and accuracy

Working hours:
Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:30pm
