We are hiring an IT Systems Management Analyst to join our team. The role focuses on understanding business processes and systems, and on how infrastructure information is managed, monitored, and optimized to support operational excellence. Location : The Gardens South Tower, Mid Valley - Suites 26.01 & 27.01, Level 26-27, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Date posted : 11-Oct-2025. Business Function : Information Technology. Who You Are : Demonstrates a strong interest in developing expertise in IT systems management, takes initiative to identify and address issues in global IT Asset Management (ITAM), and stays informed about emerging industry trends and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Asset Lifecycle Management : Lead planning, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets. Ensure accurate updates in ServiceNow and SAM Pro throughout the asset lifecycle. Coordinate secure data wiping and compliant disposal of retired assets.
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM) : Manage the physical lifecycle of laptops, desktops, servers, network equipment, and mobile devices. Track ownership, location, and status of assets. Plan and execute hardware refresh cycles. Enforce policies for issuance, use, and return. Coordinate repairs, warranty support, and spare inventory.
- Software Asset Management (SAM) : Govern software lifecycles from request to deactivation. Maintain license records, monitor usage, and optimize entitlements. Ensure licensing compliance and audit readiness. Support renewals and reharvesting of unused licenses.
- Inventory & Tracking : Maintain real-time records using ServiceNow / SAM Pro and MECM. Conduct regular physical audits and reconcile discrepancies. Track assets by user, department, location, and status.
- Financial Management : Monitor CapEx and OpEx related to IT assets. Forecast renewals and replacements. Identify cost-saving opportunities through reharvesting and optimization.
- Compliance & Risk Governance : Ensure alignment with SOX and internal policies. Mitigate risks related to unauthorized usage, data security, and audit exposure. Support internal and vendor audits with complete documentation.
- Reporting & Analytics : Deliver dashboards and reports on asset utilization, lifecycle status, warranty, and refresh planning. Provide insights for strategic decision-making and budget forecasting.
- Vendor Relationship Management : Maintain relationships with hardware and software vendors. Track SLAs, warranty terms, and support effectiveness. Facilitate procurement and escalation processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with IT Support, Security, Procurement, Finance, and end users. Coordinate asset assignments, returns, and offboarding processes.
- Hardware & Software Vetting : Review and validate new asset requests for duplication, compliance, and business justification. Work with Enterprise Architecture, IT Security, Legal, and Procurement for assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, or related fields preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.Technical Competencies : IT asset lifecycle (HAM & SAM), software licensing and compliance, procurement and vendor management, IT security and audit requirements.Proficient in ServiceNow, SAM Pro, MECM, Excel, and reporting platforms.Who We Are
