Technical Expertise : Proficiency in modern software architecture and design patterns. Experience with RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB). Expertise in domain-driven microservices and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with Docker / Container technology and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience with CI / CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Strong understanding of secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10). Exposure to modern cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Methodology : Experience with Agile methodology or a similar lean startup approach for building software. Leadership : Proven experience in managing a high-performing backend engineering team. Responsibilities
- Champion backend development best practices across the Engineering function.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance the digital banking user experience.
- Participate in the complete development lifecycle, from definition to deployment.
- Codify best practices into reusable patterns, templates, and codebases to enhance quality and speed.
- Design and develop highly scalable and secure microservices for the digital bank.
- Write optimized code, ensuring high performance and security of applications.
- Mentor and guide team members for their professional and personal growth.
- Monitor and maintain application health and performance under the team’s care.
- Design, evaluate, and effectively communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
