We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic to join our team, focusing on Proton vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Proton cars to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Proton vehicle systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Key Responsibilities :
Diagnose and Repair : Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in Proton vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.Routine Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations, specifically tailored to Proton vehicles.Vehicle Inspections : Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electronics, to identify and resolve potential issues.System Upgrades : Install and update vehicle software and electronic systems as required for Proton models.Customer Communication : Provide clear and accurate explanations of repair needs and maintenance requirements to customers, offering advice on vehicle care and best practices.Estimate Preparation : Prepare accurate estimates for repair and maintenance work, including cost, time, and materials needed.Tool and Equipment Maintenance : Ensure all tools and diagnostic equipment are well-maintained and in proper working order.Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Qualifications and Skills Required :
Experience : 1-2 years of experience in automotive repair, with a focus on Proton vehicles preferred. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided)Education : Certification from a vocational school or completion of an automotive apprenticeship.Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of Proton vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.Diagnostic Skills : Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to Proton vehicles.Physical Fitness : Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and standing for extended periods.Safety Awareness : Strong commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols.Specialized Skills :
