Job Description

  • Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations
  • Maintain accurate and timely accounting records (AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations).
  • Prepare financial statements : P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and management reports.
  • Manage monthly and annual closing processes.
  • Set up scalable accounting processes using AI tools for automation and standardization.
  • Utilize Xero for efficient record-keeping.
  • Licensing & Registration Compliance
  • Track and manage renewals of trade and industry licenses.
  • Liaise with outsourced secretarial services to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Taxation & Audit Coordination
  • Coordinate with outsourced firms for multi-country tax filings.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Payroll, HR Administration & Software Oversight
  • Manage payroll, reimbursements, leave tracking, and HR records.
  • Evaluate and implement modern HR software solutions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and use AI tools to streamline HR communications and documentation.

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years in accounting / finance, including compliance, tax, and HR / payroll.

    • Background

  • Prior experience in startups or SMEs preferred.

    • Skills

  • Strong accounting and financial reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
  • Experience with Xero is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate with external partners (e.g., secretarial services, tax firms, auditors).
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using AI tools for process improvement.

  • Flexible, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to take on diverse responsibilities.

    • Other Requirements

  • Able to work independently in a fully remote setup.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
