PR Account Manager (Senior Manager/Director)

Company Background: Leading Marketing Communications, Public Relations & Events agency in Malaysia. Position Title: PR Account Manager (Senior Manager/Director) Work Location: Kuala Lumpur Working hour: 9:30am - 6:30pm (Mon - Friday) Job Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts and understand client business objectives and provide strategic communications advice Lead end-to-end execution of PR campaigns, media relations, and events. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource planning Support development of PR and communications strategies and oversee media outreach, press releases, influencer engagement, and content development Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports Provide insights and recommendations for campaign improvement Supervise and mentor Account Executives / Account Managers Delegate tasks effectively and review team output Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts and support pitching for new business and proposal development Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Marketing, Business or related field 4–7 years of experience in PR, communications, or events industry Strong media relations and client servicing experience Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts Fluent in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Chinese , as the role requires communication and reporting to Chinese-speaking management.
