Senior IT Business Consultant (SAP SD)

About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Act as senior expert for Sales and Distribution, eDocument Cockpit, EDI, Pricing, and omnichannel retail processes; specific insights into the Asia Pacific markets are a plus
• Solution design and enhancements for retail‑specific SAP components such as SAP Sales, SAP CAR (POSDTA, OAA) and retail store back office related Fiori Applications
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP process designs following global templates and standards
• Perform EDI integrations with partners
• Perform SAP customizing, functional documentation, and coordination with development teams
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all supported markets
• Deliver technical user training, documentation, and hyper care during deployments
• Provide 3rd level support, analyze/debug and solve critical issues or escalation with Vendor
• Assure continuous improvement initiatives, retail process optimization, and selective automation or AI‑supported enhancements
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure aligned and stable end‑to‑end solutions
• Maintain process and integration documentation for reusability and knowledge sharing

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

• University degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on SD and Logistics Execution (LE) experience
• Proven knowledge in omnichannel retail
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales, Logistics Execution, and Retail & Fashion processes, including SAP CAR (POSDTA, OAA)
• Deep insight into eDocument as well as EDI integrations to translate business needs into standardized and legally compliant SAP solutions
• Experience in integration design and SAP architecture concepts
• Proven ability to lead projects and work with global stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a hands-on attitude
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
• Experience in retail or omnichannel business environments is a plus
