Assistant Finance Manager

1. Direct the end-to-end preparation of monthly financial statements including thorough analysis review and validation to ensure accuracy completeness and strict adherence to accounting standards relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
   
2. Conduct in-depth analytical reviews of financial results identify significant variances and investigate any discrepancies or outliers.
   
3. Oversee the preparation of annual tax filings estimated tax computations and manage all other tax-related matters.
   
4. Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors company secretaries bankers tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
   
5. Guarantee full compliance with internal company policies procedures and all applicable external regulations including the Housing Development Act and Strata Management Act.
   
6. Supervise the daily operational activities of the Finance and Accounts Department.
   
7. Review and approve payment recommendation plans payment vouchers and journal vouchers prepared by the team.
   
8. Collaborate with operational staff and provide financial insights to support informed decision-making.
   
9. Lead the preparation of the annual budget and monitor actual performance against budgetary targets.
   
10. Track project expenditures against the approved budget and key project milestones/parameters.
    
11. Assist in the preparation of project-related reports in accordance with shareholder guidelines.
    
12. Prepare and monitor project and company-wide cash flow forecasts to maintain a healthy cash position.
    
13. Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by management.
    

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree/Professional qualification in Accountancy or equivalent with minimum of 5 to 7 years working experience.
   
2. Familiar with Construction and Property Development Industry.
   
3. Team player with a positive working attitude and have good analytical and communication skills.
   
4. Able to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
   
5. Able to multi-task and willing to be hands-on.
   
6. Demonstrate integrity and committed with a strong sense of responsibility to meet deadlines.
