Description

  • Research & evaluate company / project, identify key indicators as upside opportunities or threats
  • Research & evaluate industry and its key economic indicators
  • Prepare detailed financial models to show current and project future performances (cash flow, financing, unlevered / levered IRR, NPV, sensitivities)
  • Analyse / review / validate existing financial models from outside
  • Prepare investment analysis documentation and clearly articulate investment rationale
  • Perform NPV analysis / comparison
  • Perform Due diligence (desktop & field)
  • Industry updates – monitor and stay updated on relevant events / news / transactions / trends

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Deep understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and investment vehicles
  • Experience in solar and / or renewable energy or other technical infrastructure assets
  • Understanding of bank loan practices and taxes (incl. allowances and green tax incentives) in our key countries
  • Familiar with private equity funds and their operations and mindset
  • Understanding of structuring acquisitions, investments or joint ventures and being able to convert a structured transaction into financial model and legal clauses
  • Able to build own network and / or use referrals to asset owners, brokers / agents or partners
  • Understand macro-economics and its impact (change in interest, forex, geopolitical)
  • Communication & presentation skills – be able to communicate and network with senior investment CEOs as well as with niche-industry business owners
  • Clear and concise presentation of complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Network among industry peers

    • Education & Work Experience :

  • MBA preferred
  • BA in finance, accounting, economics or related
  • CFA preferred
  • Over 5 years work experience in private equity / venture capital (preferred) or corporate finance
