Job Responsibilities :
Taking customers’ orders using a POS ordering software, order slips, or by memorization, and delivering / serving food and beverages to the right customer and table.
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
Ensure all service procedures are adhered to and carried out.
Check the appearance, cleanliness, and proper setup of the restaurant and its related areas.
Ensure that the lighting and room temperature of the restaurant are always at established levels.
Ensure that damaged equipment, cutleries, and crockery are not put back in use.
Ensure that equipment, crockery, glassware, and cutleries are enough for functions and restaurant use.
Look after the equipment and tools such as cutlery and crockery.
Have complete knowledge of food and beverages served in the restaurant and serve them according to the serving procedure.
Have knowledge of the preparation of beverage recipes served in the restaurant.
Answer phones and take reservations whenever needed.
Maintain communication and a sound working relationship within the F&B department and other departments.
Be in charge of the movement of linen.
Any other duties as instructed by the Head Chef / Assistant Manager / Supervisor as and when required.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Work six days a week from 9 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with overtime as needed based on events.
