Role Summary :
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive sales and growth for RMA’s product portfolio, including remittance, data management, customer experience platforms, digital remittance, money exchange, regulatory reporting, and bespoke software solutions. The role is full-time, on-site in Kuala Lumpur, with a focus on engaging banks, remittance companies, and financial institutions across ASEAN.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales and Business Growth : Promote and sell RMA’s solutions (e.g., Customer Experience Platform, Remittance, RegTech) to target clients, meeting / exceeding sales targets and pipeline goals.
- Opportunity Identification : Identify and develop new business opportunities with financial institutions in ASEAN.
- Client Engagement : Deliver presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral to showcase RMA’s offerings.
- Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term client relationships, providing strategic support and recommendations.
- Consultative Selling : Understand client needs and align them with RMA’s technology solutions.
- Collaboration : Work with product, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure successful solution implementation and client satisfaction.
- Market Analysis : Monitor trends, competitors, and client feedback to recommend product enhancements.
- Reporting : Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and opportunity analyses.
- Deal Closure : Negotiate and close deals to foster long-term partnerships.
Qualifications and Skills :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (3+ years of enterprise sales experience).Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of banking and financial IT ecosystems, with experience in FinTech / RegTech preferred.Sales Expertise : Proven track record in solution-based / consultative selling, proposal writing, and RFP submissions.Communication : Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.Relationship Building : Ability to forge and maintain strategic client partnerships.Work Style : Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively.Why Join RMA :
