Job Description Summary

We are hiring this role for an upcoming Data Centre Project in KL. You will be responsible for planning managing and delivering electrical infrastructure projects within mission-critical data centre.

Job Description

• Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage full lifecycle of data centre project: new builds expansions upgrades retrofits and capacity enhancements.

  • Prepare project plans schedules budgets risk assessments and resource allocations.

  • Ensure electrical systems are integrated with mechanical IT and facility operations.

  Electrical Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee installation and commissioning of various systems

  • Ensure electrical infrastructure meets data centre Tier requirements

  Quality Compliance & Testing

  • Ensure all electrical works meet international and local codes

  • Conduct site inspections and quality audits throughout construction phases.

  Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Evaluate and manage electrical contractors vendors and suppliers.

  • Oversee procurement of electrical equipment ensuring technical compliance and timely delivery.

  • Conduct coordination meetings and resolve technical/installation issues.

  Risk Safety & Operational Continuity

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure projects meet uptime reliability and business continuity requirements.

  Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as primary point of contact for clients consultants operations teams and leadership.

  • Provide regular progress updates dashboards and executive reports.

  • Coordinate with IT networking facilities and security teams to align project objectives.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or other related fields

  • 3 years or more project management experience in data centre mission-critical facilities or heavy electrical environments.

  • Hands-on experience with high-voltage low-voltage and critical power systems.

  • Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
