Key Responsibilities:

• Support the General Counsel of South East Asia on legal and compliance matters
• Focus on legal affairs in Malaysia identifying and managing risks in JLLs business operations
• Provide strategic advice for JLL Malaysias operations and develop processes to manage legal risks
• Draft and negotiate contracts for various business lines of JLL and assist with tender responses
• Handle disputes including HR issues and litigation management
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory systems in Malaysia as well JLLs ethical obligations
• Assist with global legal compliance and special projects
• Conduct training on legal ethics and compliance issues
• Perform general corporate commercial and regulatory work

Qualifications:

• Law degree from a recognized law school
• 6 years post-admission experience in private practice or in-house
• Experience working in a multinational corporation preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Commercial acumen with a proactive solutions-oriented mindset
• Effective at managing multiple priorities meeting deadlines
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team
• Understanding of the real estate industry and its growth areas
