General tasks and responsibilities :

To assist Oncologists in Chemotherapy Daycare and Clinic with regards to clinical management matters
To manage and lead a team of Patient Navigators to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in providing administrative patient care services
To ensure Patient Navigators understand and able to execute their job scope according to established SOPs and have accountability
To ensure that patients have a satisfying and fulfilling experience in relation to services provided by the Patient Navigators
Training new Patient Navigators to be competent in their respective job scope

Requirements :

Must possess a medical MBBS degree from a recognised university

Must have completed housemanship in Malaysia and have had at least one year experience as a Medical Officer in a hospital setting

Motivated to excel in clinical management and patient care

Have a strong inclination towards leadership and management

Willing to perform Patient Navigation tasks in the first 6 months during probation in order to gain a solid understanding of the tasks, responsibilities and KPIs of Patient Navigators, as well as the process flow in the chemo daycare, clinic, and the cancer centre as a whole.
