About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing cum Administrative Assistant to join our team at SKS PERUSAHAAN SARA SDN BHD' in Puchong, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement and administrative functions, ensuring the smooth running of our business operations.
What you'll be doing
- Handling all purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock control
- Providing administrative support to the wider team, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
- Preparing reports and documentation as required
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintaining office systems and procedures to enhance efficiency
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the purchasing or procurement functionStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholdersProficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office suiteAttention to detail and a keen eye for accuracyProactive and solutions-oriented mindsetManage speak and write in Mandarin, English & Malay
