Overview

Our Global Brew Crew is seeking a highly analytical and detailed-oriented System Analyst to support the project team in business requirement gathering, planning, executing and delivery of the next generation point-of-sale (POS) system for the Malaysia market. Reporting into the Head of IT in Malaysia with concurrent reporting to Director, Technology in the Global office in Singapore.

This role requires an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical skills who can gather and articulate business requirements into technical requirements, facilitate discussions to address ambiguities, and support the necessary documentation, processes improvements, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Technology, and 3rd-party partners to gather and document business requirements for the project.
  • Analyse current POS processes, setups and identify areas for enhancement, automation and efficiency for the next generation POS system.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with developers, 3rd-party partners and the project team.
  • Support the project team with upgrades, rollouts, and integration with other systems (eg : ERP, eCommerce, MyCBTL, etc).
  • Lead the testing cycles (i.e., UAT, SIT) for the project in collaboration with the project team.
  • Maintain or create documentation such as business process flows, use cases, user stories and training materials.
  • Troubleshoot and analyse POS system issues during the project duration and work with relevant stakeholders to propose, document and fix / enhance issues.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and end-users, ensuring the solution focuses on Customer Experience (CX), is scalable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Support change management efforts, including training, roll-out communications and system adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Technology
  • Experience in F&B / retail industry is an advantage
  • Experience in implementation of point-of-sales systems or similar
  • 3 years or more experience as a System / Business Analyst and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)
  • Proficient in requirements elicitation techniques, process mapping, and documentation tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving with analytical and detail-oriented abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • May require occasional travel
  • Business-level English proficiency
