Job Overview

This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility, to monitor inventory levels and product movement, to control / isolate non-conforming product as defined by local work instruction and in conformance with client expectations and quality standards, ensuring a conforming product mix and facilitating efficient order fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities (duties / task)

  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity, product identification and location program, researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections and managing the inventory control function at the site.
  • Overseeing physical inventories / cycle counts / random or receipt audits / reconciliations, tracking and reporting non-conforming product, resolving inventory problems in a timely manner, documenting and controlling aged, scrap & damaged product
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management / client and coordinate and integrate efforts across operations department to enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Must be able to pass the Stock Picker (SP) certification test and handle the unit on daily basis.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality systems, recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify the implementation of the solutions.
  • Degree / Diploma holder in relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management system and SAP would be an advantage.
  • Service oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills.
