We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technical Support to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and software. You will work closely with end-users to ensure optimal system performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Perform regular system updates, security patches, and antivirus maintenance. Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users. Backup and restore data as needed. Assist in setting up and maintaining network infrastructure (LAN / WAN / Wi-Fi). Document technical issues, resolutions, and asset inventory. Advise on hardware and software upgrades to improve system performance. Requirements
Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows and / or macOS operating systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP). Experience with computer hardware repair and component replacement. Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems is an added advantage. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Willing to travel on short notice. Willing to work outside normal office hours when required. This position requires a rotational work schedule between two designated locations : KL (Branch). Remarks
