Senior Executive, Content Strategist at MIMOS Berhad, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Job Purpose : To be the strategic architect of our social media presence, driving engaging content initiatives that resonate with our target audiences and significantly enhance our brand’s voice and reach across all social platforms. This role is crucial for developing and executing a data-driven social media content strategy, from identifying key trends and planning impactful campaigns to meticulously analyzing performance and optimizing for maximum engagement and brand loyalty. The Social Media Content Strategist cum Analyst will ensure our social channels are vibrant, relevant, and effectively contribute to our corporate communication goals. Responsibilities

Social Media Content Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with corporate communication objectives, brand guidelines, and overall social media goals. Conduct in-depth social listening and audience research to understand audience demographics, interests, and content consumption habits specifically on social platforms. Monitor competitor social media activities and industry trends to identify content opportunities and stay ahead of the curve. Create and manage detailed social media content calendars, outlining themes, formats, and publishing schedules across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube). Collaborate closely with stakeholders and internal creative teams (e.g., videographers, content creator) and subject matter experts to brainstorm, plan, and produce high-quality, platform-specific social content. Identify and propose innovative social media content formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, Live sessions, polls) and emerging platform features to boost engagement. Social Media Content Oversight & Quality Assurance : Oversee the development of engaging social media copy, compelling visual concepts, and short-form video ideas, ensuring content is optimized for each platform’s requirements and adheres to brand voice, tone, messaging, and visual identity. Guide the repurposing of existing content into effective social media snippets and campaigns. Social Media Performance Analysis & Optimization : Define KPIs, utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on content performance, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and prepare regular performance reports with actionable recommendations. Conduct A / B testing on social media ad creatives, copy, and posting times to enhance campaign effectiveness. Stay abreast of social media algorithm changes and adjust content strategies accordingly. Social Search Optimization (SSO) : Conduct keyword research and implement strategies to improve content discoverability on social platforms, advising on integrating relevant keywords into profiles and content. Qualifications

Educational : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, Digital Media, or related field. Relevant Work Experience : Minimum of three (3) years in a social media content strategy or social media analyst role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns and content initiatives. Proven ability to leverage data to inform and optimize strategies. Technical Skills : Proficiency with major platform native analytics (e.g., Meta Business Suite Insights, X Analytics, LinkedIn Page Analytics, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Analytics); experience with social media management / publishing tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer); familiarity with social listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Mention, Sprinklr); ability to visualize data; knowledge of SSO and keyword techniques; familiarity with content ideation tools (e.g., BuzzSumo, AnswerThePublic); basic design / editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools) for informed feedback; deep platform knowledge (e.g., Instagram Reels vs. Stories, LinkedIn articles vs. posts, TikTok trends). Soft Skills : Creativity and visual storytelling; strong communication and interpersonal skills; problem-solving; time management and organization; attention to detail; adaptability; leadership and teamwork; initiative and proactiveness.
