Full Stack Engineer

TEMAN SIHAT SDN BHD is a technology startup health and wellness solutions provider. We offer digital solutions for corporate clients, elder care and the general public. We are on a mission to develop a Digital Health Companion that will provide everyone access to medically sound health and wellness information.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be given the responsibility of working your technological prowess to design, implement and give life to the Digital Health Companion. Together with the Tech Lead, you will co-design the entire working solutions from its backend stack and front end design to deployment strategies.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field related to the following areas of studies - Computer Science, Mathematics, the sciences or engineering related disciplines. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO CODE

We expect you to have a teachable and positive work attitude. The ability to communicate in English is a must, problem solving and collaborative spirit is what we are looking for. You must be comfortable taking criticism and also bringing and arguing your solutions. We are not looking for just workers, but a true contributor. As we are a startup, many tasks may extend beyond the scope of primary responsibility.

The primary language we work is in Python. You must be extremely familiar with the Python’s capabilities and are expected to write idiomatic python code. You will need to be familiar with at least working with the Flask, FastAPI, and / or Django stacks. A familiarity with Mobile App development frameworks and knowledge of Kotlin, Swift and / or Flutter is considered a plus although not mandatory. Much of your ability will depend on how quickly you can master an unknown framework from scratch. Most important is integration skills and how good you are at ensuring the entire technology stack works together seamlessly.

A good eye for software design principles, and proper use of abstractions is a major advantage. Good UI design skills is also an advantage.
